Nakatumble Luxury Eco Resort

A Truly Special Family Stay at Nakatumble We had a fantastic stay at Nakatumble with our family (kids aged 7–12). It’s a peaceful, off-the-beaten-track spot that gave us a real taste of island life. Romina’s meals were a highlight — fresh, healthy, and made from local produce grown on the property. We felt well looked after without anything being over the top. Snorkeling with Uncle Bill was a standout. He knows the reef so well and made the experience fun and safe for everyone. The paddle boards were a great bonus, and the calm bay made it easy for the kids to get involved. The property itself is a little oasis with fruit trees, gardens, and a lovely sustainable feel. Our laundry was taken care of, which was a nice surprise. It is a bit of a drive in on a bumpy road, but once you arrive, it’s well worth it. All in all, a great place to unplug and spend quality time together in a beautiful setting.

We had such an amazing time staying at Nakatumble! Bill and Romina were super lovely and made us feel right at home. Immediately upon entering the property, we were blown away. The photos definitely do not do this place justice! My partner and I actually got engaged during the our stay and being Nakatumble made it all the more special. The food was unreal… Every meal prepared fresh every day by a Michelin trained chef. The Rooms were super comfortable/clean and the main living was such an awesome space for our big group to chill after a dip in the pool. Bill and Romina made it super easy for us to plan activities through our stay. They truly know the best things to do in Vanuatu. Bill took us snorkelling at their local spot (a short drive in the back of Bills tray) and it is world class - definitely topping the list for myself. There’s even a left hand wave off the point if you’re interested in a surf! I truly can’t recommend Nakatumble enough - We’re already talking about back!

Nakatumble is a place like no other. From the moment we arrived, we were hit with peace and absolute tranquility. Romina, Bill and all of the staff are welcoming, caring and wonderful people that we are truly blessed to have met. Romina’s food is nothing less than incredible. The property is lush, green with the perfect match of waves crashing on the rocks building an atmosphere like no other. Touring the property with Romina whilst listening to the stories of how the property was built was awe inspiring. The property is a testament to the creativity and resilience of Romina and Bill and they have absolutely nailed perfection in how a resort should be. Our stay at Nakatumble was exactly what we needed, we just didn’t realise it until we left. The only negative is the poor road quality leading out to the property, but that’s politics and not anything to do with the resort. Nakatumble will always have a special place in our hearts and we can’t wait to book our next adventure at this incredible resort.
