Nalanda Retreat Goa

I genuinely loved my 3 weeks in Mandrem at Nalanda. The staff, the food, the location, the easy beach access. Seriously, incredibly friendly, safe destination in a quaint town. I never felt hassled by shop sellers (even at end of season when they need to clear inventory). There are plenty of restaurants to mix up tastes and ambiance. Nalanda itself has beachfront restaurant (Chia Lounge) w/very helpful and accommodating staff and a full service bar, 2 nice pools that were refreshing and tranquil.

had a wonderful experience during my stay in Nalanda Retreat. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure all my needs were met. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet—there was a wide variety of delicious options. The location was perfect for relaxing holiday.

Nalanda is a resort nestled on the beach. If you’re lucky enough to get a room closer to the beach, you can even hear the waves at night. The food at the restaurant is very good (especially the porridge in the morning). Also, they try to cook vegetarian, gluten free meals. The room design is nice, but they could use being kept and cleaned better. The staff is helpful as well. The could improve the attention given to details (in terms of cleaning and maybe redoing the rooms a bit). Overall, my stay there was pleasant
