Nambucca River Village by Lincoln Place

Fabulous spot to stop in on my trip from Brisbane to Melbourne. Communicated well along the way to make sure I could check in before 5.30pm. Clean cabin, clean amenities and a view of the river. Well laid out - caravan sites have concrete pads and ample grass spots for tents. After the rain, these were a bit muddy but there were some higher spots. Camp kitchens for campers as well as indoor campers. Pool is huge, lawn bowls, mini golf and chess set to keep kids occupied for a bit. Nice park.

Lovely park. Greeted by very friendly and helpful staff member. The amenities were dated but very clean. Swimming pool, mini golf, chess game and bowls all well maintained. Fantastic camp kitchen with plenty of cooking equipment and sparkling clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Can recommend the Nambucca river tourist Park. We just stayed on a caravan site with our kids and they absolutely loved having all the fun facilities. What a great job! The pool is huge and has a splash pad for the littlest kids. Put put golf, bowls, giant chess and a basket ball court. There is also a fishing jetty. The gardens were beautiful and everything was super clean. Well done!! The only thing letting it down was there was only two toilets for the park. It was done during the week when it wasn't busy but as the park filled up the toilets were not enough. Only two showers too. Not a problem though I suppose if your van has one in it. You need to bring everything to the camp kitchens too as they are not stocked with frypans or cooking utensils. None of the BBQs worked until I went and purchased a fire lighter myself. But hopefully they fix that soon. We loved our stay and wouldn't bother looking for anything else if we visited Macksville again. We would also stay here over Nambucca heads too as the price is heaps better and affordable for families and I think the kids would prefer it with the facilities.
