Nice hotel but quite far from down town at least it takes from 1,5 up to 2,5 hours during rush hours. We experienced that if you can avoid rush hours you can make it in 45 minutes. My recommendation for staying in this one hotel is to take the suite rooms and to take breakfast at the japan restaurant on first floor.

Very clean, quiet with three restaurants on the second floor. Far from the centre of Beijing. On the opposite side of city from the international airport.

The hotel was booked by a tour company I travelled with. If it wasnt 45minutes from Tianment square and the Beijing city center (roughly 120 to 160 Yuan by taxi depending on traffic) I would rate it 3.5 stars. Its located in a very eerie neighborhood where everything closes early and theres almost no people, best way to describe it is like it's a movie set. Theres no restaurants or convent stores nearby. Minimal facilities, rooms were decent, clean, beds comfortable. Only front desk spoke English but were quick and prompt to assist. Breakfast buffet was on the 2nd floor and decent. The Japanese restaurant at the ground floor was eerie too but surprisingly the food was delicious. The Chinese food on the ground floor; acording to others in my tour group, was good. Overall it was safe and it served its purpose after a long day touring. If I came back to Beijing, I dont think I would stay here simply because of the distance from the city.
