Nanning Winwin Hotel

Very nice hotel but coming from the shenzhen Marriott there is a big difference. Still very enjoyable.

Marriot Nanning is one of the best hotel with location. Mall with many choices of foods and supermarket just beside the hotel and Metro is 3 mins walk from the mall. MixC mall is 1 station away by metro or 15 mins walk (nice to walk but not in summer season). Talking about air-conditioning, seems like we often have an issue with most of Marriot hotels in china. Depends on our luck, some of the rooms which we stayed works fine but mostly are not esp during autumn and winter (it feels like sauna room😞). Aircon is master controlled and remote is literally useless. But, as far as our stay in nanning, service is good and they will try their best to cater to our needs. *The lounge serves a delectable Afternoon tea. Menu is subject to seasonality and min order is for 2 persons. Our visit was in early Jan, theme is for Chinese new year. Pastry and cakes are crafted beautifully and all are edible (inc the handle of the macarons). Let indulged yourself and family if you have an extra time.

Perfectly located hotel, walking distance to the NICEC. The hotel is connected to a posh shopping mall with a wide choice of restaurants and fast food outlets, including Starbucks, McDonald, and Pizza Hut. It is also only a few minutes to the metro entrance for line 1, which connects directly to Nanning East HSR Station. The hotel is modern, my room was clean and spacious. However, there was no coffee making machine in the room for a Western business hotel, apart from a kettle and a few tired sachets of instant coffee. Hotel breakfast was also rather disappointing with very limited Western fare, and the Chinese choices were not of great quality, like hard-boiled eggs, steamed buns, baked sweet potatoes, congee and noodles.
