Nansuikaku

The service here was amazing and they were very helpful from helping us with our bags when getting off the bus to fulfilling every request we had during our stay. We loved and cherished every meal they served, they were one of the highlights of our whole Japan trip. I went for an early morning run and the area is beautiful. A lot of old traditional homes, so peaceful and quiet. The hot springs were nice although I'd probably stay on the property for the ones they had. The ones that require a short drive are not really worth it. The massage services are very well priced. We would love to come back.

20 minutes motorbike ride from Fukuoka through valleys and hills of beautiful colours and breathtaking scenery. Tattoo friendly. They have a rinse in room with all necessities (shampoo, conditioner, soap) and 4 outdoor pools of varying temperatures and a sauna. The cold water bath has a little fall too and you can sit under it. One of the very few places where you can have a warm (not burning hot) bath too. The changing rooms also have all amenities from body lotion to face wash and hairdryers. You can see amazing hills if you stand up and walk to the fence. The men's section doesn't have that view nor the little fall in the cold bath :(. The staff is nice too as well as the view from the resting area. Day trip onsen available for 800 yen/person.

I spent two days and the service was more than excellent, I enjoy the open air baths and reserve private baths and massages for an affordable price. The food experience was great, I tried a lot of new things that make this a really japanese experience. The hotel is really spacious and the rooms were really comfortable. I sincerely recommend this place to spend a couple days relaxing.
