Nantin Hotel Ioannina

I was a bit disappointed, I was expecting something totally different based on what I saw in the pictures. The breakfast boufe was very pour and everything was cold. The room itself was big and it had a balcony; location was only 5 min by taxi to central. However toilet was extremely cold, small with a weird curtain and not clean properly. The bed sheets were cleaned but not ironed. The floor wasn’t the cleanest either. And the main heating wasn’t working, we walked in and it was freezing in the room. However, after We turned on the air condition and waited with our jackets on for 30’ until the place warms up it was really warm in the room. One thing we really enjoyed was the mattress, it was maybe the best sleep I have ever had. When we went for breakfast the cleaning lady and the receptionist lady were chatting out loud while we were trying to relax and enjoy our breakfast, also, all the cleaning products and towels and bed sheets were on a roller in front of the reception area with the cleaning lady leaning on the reception desk and chatting out loud; which looked scruffy and not very welcoming. Also, there is no parking or at least we weren’t offered one and it was very hard to find parking in front of the hotel, hence we left our car parked and we used taxis back and forth. I was also send to do a check in online, for all three of us, which I never really did and I find it ridiculous having to put everyone’s passport details while I was the one paying and I had already prepaid the room. Overall, disappointing and no way I would ever pay such ridiculous money again for that quality of a room. It was originally 110 and they had reduced it to 70. I have stayed in great places in the past with 45- 50 euros.

Do not stay here. This hotel is not clean. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke and our bed was dirty. In the sheets there was dirt. It appears they didn't not change the sheets from the previous customers. The heater (καλοριφέρ) does not work and it is cold at night. The sofa is old and dirty, I didn't even want to touch it. The bathroom needs to be updated - horrible shower. For the price this was unacceptable. Very disappointed.
