We went here in the off season, and it was way over our budget (but we felt like it was time to splurge for 2 nights). We do not have any spa experience, and it was nice. I love the mountain view. We had received a free upgrade to a huge room, which was nice (although I would have preferred a small room if it meant facing not the road side but the pool side. Maybe they would have changed it if we requested it but we did not try). Food is edible considering it is potato Europe, not tomato Europe. Overall very relaxing atmosphere.
We were super excited to visit this resort out of all the other places we had planned on our 2 week trip across Central Europe. My family and I were ready to relax and enjoy the beautiful spa resort in the Austrian alps. Unfortunately we weren’t aware of the textile free culture in the spa sauna and cold plunge area. Coming from a Middle Eastern Asian culture this is not normal for us. Other guests complained when we were in the sauna with our bathing suits and got us kicked out. Never visiting this place again and wouldn’t recommend it for people with similar backgrounds. A special note or recommendation to this beautiful resort management - if you have foreign tourists/visitors spending a fortune on the biggest suite to spend a day at your resort, please make some special efforts to take care of their needs and their cultural backgrounds. You could have had a time slot for people to use the spa sauna area that are not comfortable being textile free. Additionally, given that we were staying in the most expensive suite they could have been more mindful about some basic housekeeping. The shower gels were not refilled in all the washroom spaces. It would have also been more comfortable to have some pleasant ventilation in the bedrooms as it was quite hot given the peak August weather in Austria.
Negative Review for Nazirssen Vital Resort I recently stayed at the Nazirssen Vital Resort, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. As an international traveler, I was shocked that none of the staff spoke any English. Communication was nearly impossible, and to make matters worse, there were no signs or instructions in English anywhere in the hotel. This created a lot of confusion and made the stay extremely frustrating. The food was absolutely terrible. The Christmas dinner, in particular, was flavorless and completely uninspiring. I cannot believe the chef approved such a meal; it felt like no effort was put into the menu. The food was not only tasteless but also incredibly unhealthy. I would strongly recommend reconsidering the kitchen staff or hiring someone who can deliver quality meals. On top of that, the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt ignored and poorly treated. A hotel that claims to be a "vital resort" should invest more in its hospitality training and cater to international guests. Overall, I was deeply disappointed with my stay. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone expecting basic levels of service, communication, or dining standards.
