Very clean and very friendly. The price-performance ratio is right. Breakfast is included in the price and very good. The suite was very large. If you need TV on vacation, you have to make do with a small TV. Absolutely not important to us, as Aprés Ski takes place in some bar every day. A sauna area is also available with three different saunas. Bathrobes are available in the room. At the reception they were happy to reserve us some very good restaurants for dinner. The hotel has its own parking lot and is located just a hundred meters from the Smaragdbahn lift.
Beautiful, very clean rooms in a very quiet location/center Excellent wellness area Breakfast, unfortunately, is always somewhat the same. There are no local eggs here either, and the juice is actually concentrate. The coffee machine only has powdered milk instead of real milk, and unfortunately, we miss a bottle of water in our room as a welcome gift every time we arrive. Best regards to the staff
Once arrived receptionist was helpful and offered help with my jacket, besides check in was smooth and no issues. We were told opening times 4-8pm for sauna which we already found very strange as that is very short and during the time which people either still outside doing winter activities or having their dinner. Then once we got in the room we noticed it has two floors which was big and nice however not logical to use the upstairs room just for another sofa which you have a living room already down so what is the use of it. It’s like wasting the space for something which could have been used for better purposes but anyway that’s their own choice. Besides this room was very cozy, bed very comfortable. However the room did not have any kettle, teabags or coffee sachets. None. So we noticed that other guests went downstairs in the breakfast room to grab coffee and tea from the machine, which we then did as well. The following day, they put up a signboard in front of the machine saying you need to pay for it without any charges mentioned and no staff around. So clearly they were not after the money, but the simple fact that they didn’t want anyone to have a hot beverage which is absolutely ridiculous for the fact that we are staying in a winter hotel. I mean having a hot beverage is supposed to be normal and especially to have the possibility to have some hot beverages in the room. It is not logical and unfriendly. Then on our first night to sleep in this hotel the actual shock happened. Right after midnight they switch off all the heating. All our heating stopped working and by 3:30am the room was cold and I woke up from being freezing. Since there is no receptionist during the night I messaged them however no response. An hour later and I still couldn’t sleep from being so cold and I made the decision to call the receptionists telephone line as there was no answer from my sms from an hour ago. She picked up very sleepy of course and I told her that I’m sorry to call however all our heating is off and we are freezing cold. Her answer was “well there is nothing I can do, this is an automatic system”. I said ok thank you and hung up. The next night I made sure to heat the room before sure enough they would switch off the heating again in the night. Firstly I think this is so cheap from the owners to save money in such things like electricity for the sauna as they limit the sauna to 4 hours a day which is nothing when you consider you are there to do activities outside and secondly to switch off all the heating during the night and more funny they switch it back on just before breakfast so most guests wouldn’t notice that it was off. To sum this up we really felt no friendliness, no warmth, no hospitality. To us this hotel seemed as if the owners or staff don’t even want you there, you don’t feel welcome at all, you rather feel that they are just forced to have you there for the sake of taking some money, but please to clarify that we never felt that they cared of making more money as this hotel does not offer any paid service such as a lunch, a drink or a dinner. Even if you are willing to pay, they tell you to go outside to another hotel or restaurant. So when I say they want to just take your money, I mean it’s for the room and the room only.
