It was perfect down to every last detail. Clean, great staff, the location was within walking distance of everything. The front desk clerk guided us to nearby spots to eat and let us relax in the lobby despite already having checked out. The room had looked to be renovated yet kept the spirit of vintage Italy. The only thing that wasn't great was that the bed mattress was kinda hard, but it wasn't too bad for only a 3 night stay. Grazie Sonder. We'll be back soon!
Amazing location! Was easily able to walk to major sightseeing sites. The hotel is in a great location of the city, there are several restaurants near by as well as shops. Easy to get some groceries to cook own meals. Apartments are super quiet and clean.
Our experience was very disappointing. We rented two appartements. And we're disappointed in both. The staff, which are there part-time, were friendly and helpful. Although the apartments are spacious and very well located, they were not in good shape. There were a lot of small things, which, when considered individually, are minor, but when combined, make for an unpleasant experience. For example: the smell of some sort of disinfectant/cleaning product in one of the apartments was so overpowering I became nauseated; it lingered for three days. The mattresses were of such poor quality that our traveling companion took the mattress out of the sleeper sofa and slept on the floor. There was no heat, and it was cold in Rome...after a considerable amount of time with online support we were told the following day there was no heat by local ordnance, due to the war in Ukraine; understandable but we should have been informed. The keypad on the building was inoperable one night, after getting online with sonder support, it apparently was reset. A washer and dryer were advertised, but the dryer was inoperable and "waiting for parts." There was rotting molding in the bathroom, several pieces of broken furniture, and on, and on and on. Again, nothing major on it's on, but certainly unpleasant when added together.
