Naya Gawana Resort & Spa

We were in the area for a ceremony, hence we only stayed one night. We chose the hotel due it's location mainly, and we were very pleased with our choice. It is a fantastic hotel, big gardens and a great location next to the bay. As we only stayed 1 night, we were in a Kura Kura Room No1. There was no privacy in this room as there was a footpath to sunbeds very close to the window. Other rooms and suites had more privacy. The food and service at the restaurant was good, although we found that 2 different fish dishes, the fish was average, and we have had better in the area. Other dishes, including Breakfast was very good. Poll was excellent, looking out over the bay. In the morning and early afternoon it was not very busy, plenty of shade if needed. Pool service was also good. In the late afternoon, the pool area was quite busy, and the number of sunbeds is limited. Overall we shall visit again, stay a little longer and probably stay in a Bay View Villa

We had a wonderful stay here! The rooms were so clean and spacious…and the facilities were excellent. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. The location is perfect,the jetty at the hotel is the departure point for Menjangan island,but the national park is also right there. I wish we could have stayed longer!

I visited this place for a solo dinner and was pleasantly greeted by a beautiful sunset and a calm, quiet atmosphere. The setting was peaceful, with only a few guests, and the service was warm and attentive—truly a highlight of the experience. However, the food could use some improvement. I ordered a burger, but found the sauce underwhelming and the beef patty lacking in flavor. I might return another time to explore other items on the menu, as the ambiance and service are certainly worth another visit.
