The room was as in the photos but little more used. The door in the bath did not close properly. The were no reception, only via email or watch up. The room was clean and there were new towels every day. You could hear the noise from the street. There was no elevator and we had to go up four floors stairs!
Even one star feels too generous. As you can see from other reviews, they notify you of the broken elevator only right before your trip. While last-minute malfunctions can happen, the same issue was mentioned in reviews from 10 months ago. This suggests either the elevator frequently breaks down, or they strategically delay informing guests so they have no choice but to keep their reservation. Despite this, they still mark "elevator available" on booking sites, which feels intentionally misleading. The building is listed as having four floors, but the stairs are steep and numerous — it feels more like climbing five or six floors. Carrying heavy luggage up and down was exhausting. The water temperature in the shower was all over the place. If you're visiting during colder weather, this could be very uncomfortable. They blame it on the age of the building, but curiously, other accommodations in the same building don’t seem to have this problem. I've stayed at many places without a reception desk, but communication here was extremely slow — it felt like the host was managing this as a side job. Breakfast starts at 9 a.m., which is far too late for tourists who need to start their day early, making it practically unusable. On top of that, it was quite noisy at night, which made sleeping difficult. The room layout was poorly designed, the bathroom door wouldn’t close properly, and the towels had a sour smell. Honestly, I could go on. From beginning to end, the experience was frustrating.
Terrible experience ever had. Not able to check in. No front desk. no check in instructions. Nobody reply email and nobody answer the phone. We were waiting on the stairway for more than one and half hour until 8pm. We cancelled the “hotel “.
