Wonderful Family Stay with Minor Flaws We had a fantastic family stay at the resort. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the overall ambiance was relaxing. The staff were polite, attentive, and always ready to help. Room service was efficient, and the swimming pool was exceptionally clean and well cared for — a real highlight of our stay. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The bed in our room creaked with every movement, which became quite irritating during the night. Additionally, the air conditioner was noisier than expected, which slightly disrupted our comfort. Aside from these issues, everything else was excellent. We truly enjoyed our time here and would still recommend the resort for a pleasant family getaway.

Hotel Neelam Grand, Goa — overall a disappointing experience. We booked a room for ₹4000 expecting decent comfort, but sadly, the quality didn’t even match a ₹1000 standard. Rooms were poorly maintained, the furniture looked worn out, and the basic cleanliness was missing. The bathroom was extremely poorly maintained — honestly, some public bathrooms are better kept. Broken fittings, stained tiles, and an overall neglected feel left a very poor impression. The buffet breakfast was another big disaster — very limited options, below-average quality, and absolutely no attention to freshness or presentation. It felt more like a formality than a hospitality experience. The service throughout was average at best — no warmth or sense of care. Even simple requests took multiple follow-ups. The pictures shown online created very different expectations from the actual experience, which was quite disheartening. Sadly, this isn't just about one hotel. Goa itself feels like it’s slowly losing its soul. The peaceful "sossegado" spirit is missing. It feels overcrowded, overpriced, and commercialized — almost like an extension of Delhi. Prices have shot up, but the quality of service has drastically fallen. Tourists are increasingly treated like money-making opportunities rather than valued guests.
