Netum Hotel

Thanks for the pleasant stay. The rooms and service were great, good breakfast variety and friendly helpful staff. The centre of Noto ist only a 10 minute walk away. Private parking in premises ist available

Overall well kept hotel with modern touch. Very helpful staff. Triple room was very spacious but since it was on the Groundfloor, window had no view and facing wall. Breakfast could be a bit improved with more variety to choose from.

I really don't understand the good reviews of this hotel. This is the worst place I have stayed in my 10 days in Sicily. The rooms are extremely dark, the shower is very small, the breakfast is inedible, and the location is outside of the city in a residential area. The last fact was one of the reasons I stayed here because it is supposed to be quiet. However, there was so much noise outside all night. I probably would have slept better in the center of Noto. The most offending aspect was the lady at the reception. Though I had paid for my room in advance and showed up dressed nicely, she was extremely suspicious and impolite. I believe it was racism at its best. When I later informed her there were no tissues in my room, first she questioned if that was true and then she said she lost all the tissues! After a few hours of waiting for tissues, I finally asked if we couldn't take a box from another room and, as she didn't have a good excuse, she agreed. She followed me to my room to request the empty tissue box back as if I might steal it. This left me with a really unpleasant feeling. It's too bad because the lady at the reception in the morning was very nice.
