My stay at New Era Hotel was luxurious and worth every penny. The attention to detail in the rooms, the impeccable service, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I would rate this as the best hotel in Bangalore.
Strategic location, nearby halal foods & mosques, difficult to find laundry shop, communication with hotel staff and shop staff using WeChat for non-Mandarin speaking. Booking for DIDI e-hailing taxi has to be careful to confirm the pickup point location because the location set will change itself. The DIDI driver sometimes tries to manipulate by saying the already reach to the pickup point, and claiming that we are not there and make a complaint to get free money from us or demand us to cancel the booking after 5mins and we are being charged for the cancellation.
Good location in the centre of town. Restaurant on top floor. Good choices of food, not crowed. Outdated bathroom with mould in some places. Shower in the bathtub - dangerous because of slippery surface and the need to step out and in of the bathtub. Cooler not working well to cool from 26 degrees room temperature. After the complaint, the hotel gave us an upgrade.
