New Garden Hotel

A well-managed, elegant hotel located very conveniently within walking distance from Diyarbakir's historical sites and the impressive city walls. The staff and the manager were very helpful, friendly and really going out of their way to assist guests (even booking a hairdresser's appointment at my request!). The breakfast selection was varied enough and always fresh, and the a la carte menu very good, carefully prepared and served with kindness. The room was clean, towels and sheets changed daily, with replenished supply of water, coffee and tea. The whole place has a friendly vibe, is comfortable and very popular among foreign and local visitors, coming and going each day in considerable numbers. We had a very good stay and are planning to return when we shall have the chance!

I have enjoyed everything about this hotel which felt like home to us with the staff’s hospitality, accommodating approach, and kindness. The owner Davut and his son Baran are always around and helpful. I’ve never felt like this in any of the US hotels. This is a place you want to stay. Rooms are very clean with AC working endlessly and there is a hamam in our room. The hotel features an enormous breakfast. All you can eat from endless choices. I’ve never seen such great breakfast quality in my life staying at hotels in number of countries. Diyarbakır’s most famous sightseeing locations are walking distance away from the hotel. That’s a winner! Stay at New Garden hotel if you want to visit Diyarbakır. You won’t regret it.
