This was a great place to have a totally different style of vacation. If you're looking for a non-standard experience, definitely a must do. We went in slower time but had a great time. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Just an amazing experience. We loved you guys New Orleans Hotel. Definitely do it again when we have more time. Keep up the great historical fun! Thanks for everything!

Fantastic hotel. Centrally located with extremely friendly staff. The hotel rooms are pretty large and have a very unique feel to them. The one we stayed in had a massive jacuzzi style bathtub. Only disappointment is the bar in the basement which was described as a speakeasy It's just a pretty average dive bar. Very few cocktails, and what they do have are what you would expect from a classic dive bar where it's just a few cheap mixed ingredients. I'm not letting that affect the review though since I consider that a separate thing entirely.

So disappointed to say the staff was nice but the room itself was a terribly disappointing & uncomfortable experience. We got a king suite and were really excited to stay here for a special anniversary after staying all over Eureka. The tiny pillows were almost as flat as the TV remote, lumpy and desperately needing replacement since around Y2K. The pillows were, frankly, shameful. Among the worst ever experienced. The mattress was terribly uncomfortable, saggy and cupped in the middle. A support was broken on the bottom/middle of the bed frame. The sheet & blanket were worn out & paper thin. The suites' two chairs were embarrassing and unusable, with busted springs and badly torn & stained seats. Filled the bathtub, turned on the jets, and it immediately shorted out the bathroom lights!! Extremely uncomfortable having my bath water somehow affect the room’s electricity. And of course, we couldn't use an amenity that we'd specifically chosen & paid for. Someone had taken two knobs off the bathtub soap dispenser and dumped them into one of the soap wells, and that’s how housekeeping left it for us… but they left a soap on top of the dispenser to make up for it? …thank you? On top of all that, there was NO coffee in the room — but they carefully set up the coffee maker, creamers, cups, etc. (but no water). When I asked at the front, “oh yeah we’ve been out of coffee for over a week”. There was no warning about this. They did make some available in the lobby, but just another in a long list of careless neglected details. The sand art glass frames above the doors is a nice visual, but they’re literally black duct-taped on, and some are separating, creating a fall hazard for guests. The fact that they decided to duct tape loose glass sheets immediately over where 100 year old thick doors shake the walls dozens of times a day is careless at best & negligent at worst. Yes, both the street and the A/C are loud, and yes there's lots of stairs, but it's downtown Eureka Springs, these things should be well-expected. But the questionable fixes, thrashed furniture, shorted lights, coffee issues & World's Worst Bed™ are unacceptable for a Motel 6, let alone what should be a prestigious place. For a supposedly nice four-star hotel, very little hinted that they care about guest's comfort, restfulness or rejuvenation. I hated to write this review, but this stay was a massive disappointment.
