New Place

Just returned from an amazing one-night stay at the New Place Hotel for my wife's birthday. I researched many hotels before deciding on this one and it did not disappoint! Such a lovely experience from start to finish. Free parking (and plenty of it). Reception very friendly and helpful. Had a few emails with them in the lead up to our stay and they went above and beyond to make it extra special for my wife (thank you!). Leisure facilities were spot on, very clean and a great way to ease into our lovely stay. We undertook the wooded walk around the property, great to stretch your legs, get your bearings and explore some of the beautiful green areas located within the grounds. Bar & restaurant staff were equally friendly and accommodating, our lovely waitress couldn't do enough for us, she even took us outside between courses to take photos of my wife and I within the beautiful surroundings. Food was amazing. Presentation, taste, portions, selection, everything was spot on. Great selection at breakfast and although we were one of the last to show up, still plenty of fresh food to be enjoyed. The room itself was lovely, spacious, clean, well equipped. It was a warm day, so the large floor standing fan provided was a very welcome addition! Give this place a go, you won't be disappointed!

Stayed last night with my 12 year old daughter. Having mis-booked my original dates, the reception staff were very helpful in sorting us out with a new room. Rooms were very clean, comfy and spacious. Lovely bathroom and shower too. The spa facilities were great... Really nice pool, warm jacuzzi and an excellent sauna. Breakfast was fantastic!! Lots of choice and really well cooked tasty options. The only reason i am giving this 4 stars and not 5 stars was the dinner... They had run out of fish pie so i had the bacon and blue cheese burger, which had an overcooked burger and i could not taste any blue cheese at all. And at £22, it seemed very steep. Overall though, i would definitely come back here amd would very much recommend to others!

stayed here recently on a work trip and really enjoyed it. The room I had was nicely done, clean and well kept but a bit tight on space. Still, it had everything I needed and felt comfortable. The grounds are a real highlight. After a long day, it was nice to take a walk and get some fresh air in such peaceful surroundings. Foodwise, there weren’t loads of options, but what I had was genuinely tasty and well presented. Quality over quantity, in this case. I also used the health club while I was there it was in good shape, and everything worked as it should. All in all, it is a solid place to stay if you’re in the area for work. I’d definitely come back.
