Stayed for 1 night in late September. I wonder if this is the low season as there was just another couple we met at breakfast. But still had to pay parking 8 EUR. Twin room was clean, spacious. Bath tub is big. Agree that power socket could be better placed. The pull out drawers under the bed is a good addition, however the bed placement is too close to the wardrobe. Hotel has elevator access to rooms despite it only has 3 floors. Receptionist is helpful and friendly, speaks good English. Breakfast has a good spread including prosecco. The kitchen manager however could have a better attitude. We came down for breakfast at 7:50am and it was not ready. We went looking for someone to ask and he was in the kitchen. He practically chased us out of the dining area, even though breakfast was to start at 8am. Later when I went to get a cup of latte, he asked me ratherly curtly did I pay for that, which confused me cause the receptionist told me coffee/ tea anytime of the day is complimentary to guests. He asked me for my room number. There was only 4 people for breakfast. I find hard to believe he doesn't remember me. This guy obviously need to take some hospitality course.
Awesome place to rest and stay, quiet location and nearest to the sea and Main Street at the same time!
We had an overall pleasant stay, but unfortunately, a few issues left us somewhat disappointed. We had read from many previous guests that Prosecco was available at breakfast, and that breakfast service started at 8:00 AM. Sadly, neither of these expectations were met during our stay. Most disappointing, however, was the fact that although we paid in cash for a single bottle of mineral water from the minibar—leaving the exact amount next to the bottle—we still found the charge included on our final bill. This was not fair, and we expected a more accurate and transparent billing process, even for such a minor item.
