I booked this hotel when on a business trip. I got a room with city view and it was nice room. I met Edmund at the reception on first day. He explained about the green initiatives that hotel undertakes like providing a glass bottle for drinking and we can use same to fill from a drinking water dispenser provided on every floor. The staff is very kind and nice. This is a good hotel

I have stayed at the New World Millennium a number of times and it never disappoints. In fact, it seems to get better each trip somehow. The rooms are always immaculate and so carefully prepared. The food in Cafe East is very good indeed with a service to match. Buffet lunch is a super and very enjoyable relaxing experience. The hotel is great but it is the staff who make it his place really stand out and are who make the New World Millennium such a great hotel. Without exception they are professional, friendly and cheerful, this makes all the difference in comparison with other hotels. They have time for people and when I am working away from home I very much appreciate this kindness. Those who stand out regularly: Reception, Jophy, Gabie, Elaine, Janice. Concierge, Bobby, Raymond and of course Jackie. Cafe’ East, Suki, Christina, Yvonne, Maggie. And the cleaning lady on the 8th floor I didn’t get her name, who today could not have been more helpful. That is the nature of this hotel, staff will go out of their way to be helpful and they are cheerful in doing so. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

The only good thing about this place is the location, but honestly, there are many better options out there. I'm sharing all the details so you can AVOID staying here at all costs. First, we paid for an ocean-view room, but when we arrived, they admitted they were overbooked and didn’t have one available. The price difference was $200, and although they moved us to a different room for one night, it was actually worse — it smelled like cigarettes and had old curtains. The worst part was their attitude; they just said, “That’s all we have.” We also paid for two days of breakfast cost 60 usd per night . Since our flight was early, we asked for some support and requested a meal box. They gave us a sandwich with egg (even though we specifically asked for no egg due to an allergy) and a basic salad. That wasn’t even the worst part. When we went to check out, there was only one person at the desk and the process took over 30 minutes. Because of that, it was already breakfast time again, so we asked if we could just eat at the buffet we had paid for — but they refused, saying we had already received a meal box. Seriously? I understand policies, but come on — a little consideration goes a long way. What they did felt like theft, not letting us have the breakfast we paid for, even if we were willing to sit down and eat it then. Seriously, if I can help you avoid staying here, I will. There are options at the same price or even cheaper where you'll definitely get better service and rooms that match what you're paying for. Don't be fooled by the location — it's not worth the bad experience.
