Molly and Olivia were amazing at guest services, so accommodating that we truly felt cared for. The rooms were clean and incredibly spacious, and the view spectacular. After a day of lots of walking, we came back to a refreshed room and complementary water bottles those details made our stay even more special. Despite seeing a lot of people in the lobby every day, it was surprisingly quiet! We loved that there were many families around. It gave the place a warm, welcoming vibe. This particular location was within walking distance of many of the sites we wanted to visit, which was super convenient. Be sure to take advantage of the bell services, leave your bags, go explore, and ask about any available rewards. They offered some really nice perks! As a side note, we noticed the on-site Starbucks seemed to be closed every time we passed by, so it may not be open. If we ever visit NYC again, I would definitely want to stay here again!
We had a wonderful dining experience at the restaurant in the New York Marriott Downtown. The manager “George” was very attentive and professional and insured our table had a first class experience, he even took the time to personally serve everyone at our table coffee. Our server “Daniella” was equally attentive and continually checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was awesome, buffet was awesome, coffee was awesome! I highly recommend anyone staying at this amazing Marriot hotel to dine at its restaurant and see for themselves that it lives up to its name, and reputation of excellence. If you need anything or have any complaints whatsoever just ask for “George”and he will go above and beyond.
Cheap and chintzy, but pretending to be upscale. They slap on a resort fee, then shut down the lounge on weekends and swap it with a sad, stale buffet of ultra-processed junk at Bill's. Bill’s is a solid restaurant normally, but here the staff couldn’t care less. No interest in making anything convenient for guests. Rooms are big and look decent, but they still play petty games for a few extra bucks—like charging $5 on a $500/night stay. I have platinum status, and they couldn’t be bothered to offer available upgrades or even mention the daily credit at check-in. Zero effort, zero care.
