NH Berlin City West

The rooms were quite nice and spacious with all amenities and they were regularly cleaned. With enough vegan options at breakfast.

Have stayed here 3 times since 2014. The first time was during the 2014 football World Cup that Germany won. There was a big buzz within the city and this was reflected while staying in the hotel. Always found the staff friendly and helpful plus they speak English. However, I can speak/ understand some Deutsche. Only tried the breakfast once and plenty of choice although a bit expensive. Rooms are always clean and single beds are more like queen size plus very comfortable. Showers are pretty powerful. Sadly (2019) the bar is now closed but an alternative option of a large fridge cooler with beer and soft drinks- even chilled glasses. You pay the concierge/ reception staff. The beer prices are very reasonable for a hotel in a major city.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. I stayed in a larger room with modern furniture and a comfortable king size bed on the 5th floor for a decent price, but the room could probably use some air conditioning for hot summer times. Very close to two underground stations (approx. 200 - 300 m). Internet is free, but very slow unless you pay premium.
