NH Cali Royal

From the moment I arrived at the NH Royal Hotel, I was impressed by the level of service, sophistication, and attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, providing warm smiles and helpful guidance throughout my stay. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed with a modern yet cozy touch. I especially appreciated the luxurious bedding and quiet atmosphere, which made for incredibly restful nights. The views from the upper floors were a stunning bonus — a perfect snapshot of the city’s charm. The hotel’s amenities were just as impressive. The on-site restaurant served an exceptional breakfast buffet with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options — from local specialties to international classics. The lounge and bar areas offered a relaxed and elegant ambiance, perfect for unwinding after a long day. What truly set this hotel apart, though, was the thoughtful hospitality. Whether I needed local recommendations, a last-minute room service order, or help with transportation, the staff handled every request with professionalism and grace. NH Royal Hotel masterfully combines style, comfort, and top-tier service. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, this hotel promises a memorable and elevated experience. I’ll absolutely be returning — and recommending it to all my friends and colleagues.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The staff was great. The lobby was beautiful and inviting. The pool is very nice and location is prime and in a safe area. The negatives? The room. I got a completely outdated room with an A/C half working and a fridge not working at all. My room looked old with furnishing that did not seem well taken care off. The carpet was thick and full of stains and I could tell with lots of dust and dirtiness as my allergies exploded. The shower tub had stains which made me feel uneasy. I only stayed 2 nights so I did not fuzz. Perhaps they would have changed me to a newer room if I had complained. So, this review is only on the room I got and they should not rent it until upgraded. Again, the staff was wonderful. Cleaning crew tried their best, it is just the room is too dated and shows wear and tear. The type of carpet in the room is not optimal for a hotel. Regular floor or commercial (non "hairy") carpet would have been a better choice, This one is too thick and accumulates too much that a vacuum cleaner won't clean well enough.

Having family that stayed at this hotel a few years ago and raved about it I was looking forward to staying here. The lobby looked lovely and fancy-there is a piano! It's right next to a small mall and across the street from an even bigger one. That's about the only nice things I can say about this hotel. We reserved the family suite and while the room was much more spacious, it was clear this hotel hasn't been well taken care of. The bed was hard, the lampshades above the nightstand had mysterious stains on them, the fixture for the hand towels was broken, and the handle for the shower literally broke off when I turned it. The room smelled of must and mold; I had family also staying there who had to change rooms because the smell was so overpowering. There was a stain on the carpet and could clearly tell that they just cut pieces off and tried to patch things up haphazardly. The restroom is TINY and the shower had no door (only a curtain) so the water constantly spilled onto the floor-we had to put towels there to contain the water. I called down to let them know I needed laundry services and was assured someone would be by to pick up my laundry-no one ever arrived. There were cats milling about outside in the breakfast area which didn't feel exactly hygienic. We decided to shorten our stay, cut our losses, and leave. My family that had stayed there before was shocked at how disappointing the hotel is now. I won't be recommending this hotel to anyone in Cali. Head down the street and find better lodging.
