NH Collection Bogotá WTC Royal

The location of the hotel is great, plenty of restaurants and good walkability to things. The area is quiet and nice. Loved going out on the balcony although there was no furniture to sit on. I will note that the hotel is more geared towards individuals working in the WTC it seems. There's daily meetings and things in the conference rooms. My negative comment is that the guest elevators are right outside the conference rooms. Many mornings we would be leaving the hotel and have to walk through the groups of people taking meetings and going in and out of the conference rooms. Other than that, great stay. Great hotel for the price.

Rooms are serviceable I would say very low ceilings and bit dark. I stayed in the suite here and coming over from presidential suite at Hilton Corferias it was quite the contrast. However, four nights here combined were actually cheaper than even one night at the Hilton so I have factored that in to my rating. Good: -Location (very close to parque 93) -Very quiet at night for a restful sleep -Friendly helpful staff -Affordable for the location Con: -Room could use updating -Suites are located on the premium building but those building are right above the restaurants. Didn't bother me but you will smell the grilling of meat during open hours if your rooms are facing the park. -Premium building shares the building with the offices, and above the 4th floor are the offices. I was on the 4th floor and there was a flooding that occurred which affected my room and others. We were relocated to the other side of the 3rd floor. Staff did the best they can but there was a LOT of water being dropped from the ceiling. I think it is a good value for the price but I would probably skip the suite here (suite on NH collection in Guadalajara was great) in this location and go for regular rooms with higher view away from the office / restaurant sharing.

I will start with the positive. The rooms were nice. Security is great. Breakfast was 19 USD pp per day. This was WILDLY overpriced for what they served. Pancake waffles, pastries, desert fresh cut fruits, cheeses, and meats were left out from 6 am. So if you ate at 10 AM. It was stale already. 6 AM breakfast did not yeld fresh was pancakes. They were cold. The hot water was out every morning and several morning we woke up to no running water. The windows are very thin and I could heare the traffic at night and early in the morning. I will end with a positive. The staff were kind and responsive. They tried their best but most was beyond their control. The location was not he best as well lots of traffic it took Uber 10 min to get .5km.
