I celebrated my 21st birthday at NH Collection Hotel during their Mongolian-themed buffet night, and it was absolutely magical! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so special. They went above and beyond by setting up a stunning pink-themed candlelight table, just as I had in my mind it was elegant, cozy, and perfect for the occasion. The Mongolian buffet was a culinary delight with a great variety of dishes full of flavor and authenticity. The ambiance, service, and attention to detail truly made the night unforgettable. I’m so grateful to the entire team for making my birthday so memorable. Highly recommend this place for any celebration!

Our stay at NH Collection Colombo started with some initial frustration. Despite having the highest GHA status, our upgrade was initially denied at check-in, which was disappointing. However, after raising the issue with management, it was quickly resolved – and from that point on, our experience completely turned around. We were upgraded to the Presidential Suite, and I must say: it was one of the most luxurious hotel rooms I’ve ever seen. Spacious, elegant, and meticulously designed – truly exceptional. From that moment forward, the service was outstanding. Every staff member we interacted with was attentive and professional. The rooftop pool is a real highlight, offering both relaxation and beautiful views. The hotel’s location is also excellent – central and convenient for exploring Colombo. Apart from the rough start at check-in, the hotel delivered exactly what I expect from NH Collection: quality, style, and great service. Highly recommended – just make sure your loyalty benefits are clearly communicated upon arrival.

I had an incredibly disappointing stay at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. The service was downright poor from the moment I arrived. Staff were inattentive and made me feel like I was a bother rather than a guest. The breakfast buffet was one of the worst parts—there was a ridiculously long wait just to get a table, and once seated, many items were already gone or cold. Not worth waking up early for. To make things worse, my room was missing several basic essentials. There was no shampoo or body wash provided, and when I called the front desk to ask, they never followed up. There was no bottled water in the room, and even tap water options weren’t clear or readily available. Shockingly, there was also no hair dryer, which is something I’ve come to expect even at budget hotels. Overall, this hotel failed to meet even the most basic expectations. Between the lack of amenities and the slow, unhelpful service, it was not worth the money. Definitely won’t be coming back.
