Stayed here the night before my early morning flight. The staff here is super friendly and accommodating. We arrived very early (about 3 hours before check in) but we were still made to feel welcome. The desk was willing to hold our bags, give us recommendations of where to go in the city, and give us access to all their facilities until our room was ready. Beautiful property in a beautiful country with a wonderful staff.
During a recent business trip, my husband and I had a truly enjoyable stay at the NH Hotel. The hotel provided a calm and relaxing atmosphere—exactly what we needed after several demanding days. The peaceful environment made it easy to rest and recharge We highly recommend booking a room with breakfast included—the buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. Finally, we’d like to express our sincere appreciation to Diana and Fernando Moscada for their outstanding service in the restaurant. They were consistently attentive and went out of their way to assist not only us but also our visiting family members. Their warmth and professionalism truly enhanced our experience.
It saddens me to leave this review because I used to love staying at this hotel. However, my recent experience was unacceptable. For the price you pay here, you expect a seamless stay. Instead, I showed up at 10:30 at night with a toddler and was put into an uncleaned room. Then, they changed me to a room with dirty furniture and a dirty drain. When I spoke with the customer service representative about it the next day, she seemed more concerned about me leaving her a good review than actually doing anything for me. She insulted me with free breakfast. I had a second reservation for that night, so I asked her to at least check me in. She said no problem, she would take care of it. I went out for the day with my toddler. When I came back, she was sleeping in my arms, and I hustled her up to my room. Exhausted. I needed to get her into bed. But, guess what? When I waved my key card in front of the door, I was locked out. The representative had not checked me in. I had to carry my toddler back down to the lobby. At this point, of course, she was awake. So now I'm dealing with this room problem and a cranky toddler. The representative had the audacity to repeat that because of my troubles she had offered me free breakfast. Are you joking? I'm sure this was a great hotel and its heyday, but the upkeep and staff are under-delivering today.
