NH Collection Paris Ponthieu Champs Elysées

It was a wonderful stay, and the staff were friendly. I would especially like to thank Mr. Mahmoud and the rest of the staff, Giorgi and Consta , for their cooperation that made the place beautiful. The location is great, the service is good, and it is close to many shops.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at NH Champs-Élysées. The entire staff was exceptional, especially Paolo, the manager, who took great care of us and made us feel truly welcome. Our room was recently renovated, very comfortable, and beautifully designed. The location is perfect—just steps away from the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe, and very close to metro lines 1 and 9, making it easy to explore Paris. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh options. Highly recommended!

BEWARE of the bait and switch tactics & being CHARGED TWICE! I specifically tried to avoid this nonsense by booking direct with the hotel rather than through Expedia or another third-party and they still played games at check-in.. We paid for the junior family suite and they put us in a smaller room (209), we immediately notified them that was the incorrect room that we had paid for the larger room and wanted that room and they said it would take longer to be ready. It was well beyond check-in time when the room was finally ready for us. The room itself was spacious and nice once we got the room that we paid for (224). We did notice that the bathroom sink had water in it and would not drain and smelled. In the morning we left the hotel early and notified the front desk employees of the problem with the bathroom sink and they said they would repair it while we were out yet we came back that night and the sink was still clogged and not draining with foul smelling water. Also, the hotel provided photos on their website and on third-party sites do not match the actual rooms, they are not as nice. Elevators are tiny, especially on the right side of reception, I’ve never in my life seen such a tiny elevator before. We attempted to use the stairs, but the door to the staircase was locked. Additionally, beware that this hotel charged us double nearly $900 USD extra! After we checked out, we checked the bill statement they sent through email that looked correct. However, once we checked our credit card statement, we were charged double! We were charged when we checked in and then charged again when we checked out putting nearly $900 extra on our credit card that did not belong. All of these issues took time away from our vacation to correct their errors. I would not stay here again. The positives of our stay are that the beds were comfortable. The room was clean and the front desk did allow us to borrow one converter to plug-in extra devices.
