NH Collection Wien Zentrum

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at NH Collection Wie Zentrum. The room was lovely, clean, spacious. Location is also great. Walking distance from most of the tourist attractions, bus/train stops very close and it is located on a happening street bustling with lots of eateries and shopping stores. But the best of all the lovely staff at the reception (Mira, Elisa). Shout-out to Mira, who was so kind, friendly and gracious. She helped us with a lot of useful tips and recommendations. Overall a great place to stay with family (kids) when visiting Vienna.

We had a positive experience at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting with navigating transportation and suggestions for what to do near by. The only issue, and it wasn’t much of one since the weather co-operated, was that the air conditioning system was not 100% effective. Having said this, I would still highly recommend the hotel.

Booked a room with sofabed and an additional bed as I shared room with a friend. Upon check-in, we were told there’s neither sofabed nor extra bed available. They would “try” to find one, but we would have to pay EUR 35 per room night for bedding, which we refused. Complained a couple of times but were told repeatedly that the hotel was fully booked and they could not do anything. We opted for not having housekeeping for a couple of nights but would expect the trash to be taken out daily and toilette papers to be refilled, but nope, they checked only if we used the mini bar but none of these were done. Service is no doubt friendly in general but whatever we requested during the 4-nights stay was a polite “No, not possible, fully booked.” So unfortunately, I will not stay at a NH hotel again as apparently a fully sold property was more important than customer experience. And they should look into the descriptions of room type offered on booking site.
