NH Edelweiss Bariloche

Great Hotel in the heart of Bariloche. The rooms are spotless, and the service is amazing. The room's view to the lake is incredible. Parking available. The breakfast was very good.

Good Modern option in a historic town The hotel is a solid option for those looking for a central location, modern comforts, and good service. The atmosphere is quite relaxed, and the amenities cater to both business and leisure travelers. However, while the location and comfort were top-notch, some areas could benefit from a bit more attention. Especially the recreational facilities like the gym need a serious makeover! LOCATION:One of the best features of NH Hotel Edelweiss is its location. Situated right in the heart of Bariloche, it offers easy access to the main streets, shops, and the stunning lakeside views. The town’s charming center, with its many restaurants and attractions, is just a short walk away, making it very convenient for exploring. If you're looking to enjoy both nature and urban experiences, the location is perfect. However, if you're looking for complete tranquility, the busy area might be a little too noisy for some. DINE + DRINK: Didnt have a chance to try the F &B to comment on them ROOM: We stayed in Room 401, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Nice partial view of the Lake from the windows ; AIR-CON: No Cooler in the room and only heater, but they do have a fan if it gets too war; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good quality Toiletries by NH brand FACILITIES: The gym is of very poor quality, with barely any weights and just a few cardio machines. They do have an indoor swimming pool and a dry sauna SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to the front office person who enhanced our stay. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Medium-sized Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in PREDOMINANTLY IN SPANISH ONLY!

The hotel was built in 1970, and last renovated in 2009. The lobby, restaurant, and bar appear to be maintained very nicely. The same can’t be said about the rest of the hotel- the hallways, the rooms, the room bathrooms are in desperate need of repairs, maintenance, and renovations. The only thing in the rooms that appear to have been replaced are the mattresses, which are quite comfortable. The service is very good, and friendly.
