Very nice place to stop off before heading down the coast. Location on Google incorrect at time of review (April 2025) you need to travel down the road about 500meters. Ocean views are fab and the hotel is very comfortable. Bring snacks if you are not venturing out of the hotel.
Just back from NH Iquique. What a lovely medium sized hotel, lovely view from the front of the hotel and pool. Excellent breakfast and good lunches and dinners. By Chilean standards, service is EXCELLENT. A small but adequate gym. Not central so you need a car to go to the Centre. Great rooms and bathrooms with walk in showers. The service in the restaurant really deserves special mention, a small but efficient staff with quick and friendly service. And good food. The waiter was so attentive he passed a glass of water to somebody who was coughing (without being asked for it). Reasonable value for money too.
Location was great. The grounds were nice with a great view of the ocean. We aren't the type to lay around on a beach, and if you are it might not be a good choice. Website says 10 min walk to beach, but it is probably double that. Would have given them 5 stars if they had kept the water level full and cleaned the jacuzzi better; and if the daily breakfast buffet wasn't so RIDICULOUSLY expensive.
