Clean rooms, staff very helpful, easy to request connecting rooms. Option to check out late was helpful due to our late evening flight.

Recently stayed at the hotel and I had a wonderful stay. The room was a very good size and very clean, room amenities were excellent. I do have a comment was about the bed linen. It was very clean but the quilt and pillows had open ended covers so I found that a little odd and perhaps not very hygienic as its possible to come into contact with the quilt and the pillows without the covers while sleeping. The location was exceptional for the museums of course. Went to the Prado every day while I was there which is just across the street, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza & Reina Sofia were also a short walk away. Walking to the Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace and the Royal Collections Gallery is also not too far ie about 25 minutes for me. The huge Atocha train station is close by and it was easy for me to take day trips from Madrid to Toledo and El Escorial. I saw the free 001 bus which runs from the Atocha train station to the Moncloa bus terminal several times, but did not have the chance to use it. The reception team at the hotel were exceptional. My check-in was quick and efficient, and if I needed something it was attended to quickly. A very special thank you to Julia who helped me with the planning of my days trips and responded to all my queries so quickly. It's a great hotel I will definitely return.

Great location, renovated rooms. The only thing I did not like was that there were no Nespresso machine in our room. I actually called to complain about it and they said I had to upgrade to a superior room in order have a Nespresso machine in the room. This is so outdated, all hotels nowadays have Nespresso machine in the rooms. WiFi speed could be better. Everything else was fine. Did I mention the great location???
