Husband, wife, and 2 Yr old shared the comfy large bed for 2 well rested night. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast bar immensely. The location was great, as it was along the river and had a bus stop outside. We will defo stay again.
Big room, nice pool and nice reception, plenty of parking out side and a lively mini park, the location is amazing and quiet, you literally can walk to the palace in 15-20 minutes. The covered parking is over priced (26 euro a night!) the breakfast must be bought with the room as buying it at the restaurant is expensive and the breakfast it self closes at 10:30 !!
For anyone who's aware of only the most basic Spanish words please be wary of this hotel. They charged a bomb for the room but the state of the room didn't look so tidy when we entered. The bathroom was smelly and it had hairs on the floor. There was no kettle pr anything basic and had to request via phone. The ordeal comes in the next morning - I woke up with a bad throat infection and couldn't go out so I was trying to order room service. The lady from the restaurant couldn't hear me at all because the phone line was so shitty. I was talking loud and telling in Spanish "Verduras a la parrilla con hummus" and "grilled vegetables with hummus" for 10 minutes, various people from the restaurant took the phone and said the connection was not good and they couldn't hear and couldn't understand. Ultimately I had to go down to the reception and asked the same. They said why don't you go to the restaurant? I literally wrote the same item on a note in Spanish and English, went to the restaurant and gave. Somehow they missed the hummus. How could they not make the dish that's literally a starter and on their own menu? That too after going there physically and pointing to them? At this point I was so disappointed that I should've ordered something on a delivery app. I had a fever and throat infection and I was running to the reception and restaurant. For the price I paid, could've booked a better hotel - not even basic services. Ah the bed was bad and the room itself was not good enough for 4 stars.
