NH Waalwijk

Without reading all the reviews, I thought this is a very good hotel. From the arrival, lots of parking and very easy access from the highway. The overall feel is an upmarket hotel, so the atmosphere is great Service desk super friendly and helpful The breakfast is great,lots of variety on the buffet, great space so you can feel relaxed. The room is rather big, very spacious for Netherlands imho. Bathroom has a bath that I can fit, that's 10 stars, loving having a bath and shower option. Decor is elegant enough, dated is a state of mind, you would have to pay a lot more for having super modern, I don't think it's necessary, it's tasteful and still very welcoming. Make sure to book for the Blake, in house restaurant, they get busy quick so you don't want to be disappointed. I'm pretty positive you will enjoy your stay. Highly recommended, preferred that you have a car as it's a little off the way from shops etc. Would I be back.... Definitely, my visit was for 5 days.

Good hotel, very close to Efteling (only 5 min with a car). Good and professional service. Check In went smooth, with all information needed. Communication before arrival was, good and all requests was nice arranged. Room was clean, could be little better maintained. Wallpaper and water pressure needed some more attention. Rest was perfect. Breakfast fresh and food was good quality. Service with smile and attention to the guest.

We had a special offer for one night following a visit to the efteling. Came in late, very pleasant reception. The room was clean, modern, but showed some signs of wear. This didn't bother us as it was otherwise very well kept and furnished. The kitchen was excellent and restaurant staff where admirable, very patient. I would certainly recommend the hotel for overnights or weekend trips in the surrounding area.
