I am a tough reviewer of hotels, but this was a great hotel. A couple minor issues but overall an excellent experience! First off we were on the 14th floor with a room with a view. The view was excellent and the room included these mechanical blinds operated on the wall that would dim the outside light just enough to take away the sunset if the sunlight was too intense. I was told it also protects the windows from weather. The room had huge vaulted ceilings and the shower was AMAZING! The bed was outstanding with a great pillow selection, and the room was quiet. Hairdryer was professional and Toiletries were also excellent. Shower caps, shoe horns and a shine cloth were included! A couple of bad items: storage space was abysmal, and the footprint was a bit small. No bathtub. The staff was OK, but it seemed like everywhere in Frankfurt was understaffed. Starbucks Cafe in the lobby, nice bar and bartender but the keys would reset every day. Overall a great experience, not perfect but highly recommended!
Great hotel, very clean with good rooms. Nice decor and friendly helpful staff. We went for the Christmas market and had a great weekend. Not much around the hotel but easy to get to!
I will not be staying at the nhow Frankfurt in the future. Staff do not greet guests when they walk through the door. Your Sunday afternoon staff are especially unprofessional. They do not greet guests, laugh loudly and while making jokes. Especially, the big guy with the beard. The other things your sauna doesn't warm up properly and the shower in the sauna area is broken. The soap, conditioner, and shampoo in the room are cheap and likely are that way for guests on the lower floors. The decor although unique is already dated. The rooms have poor light near the sink area making it difficult to put on makeup and there is no full length mirror in the room. The pillows are sad and a bit flat therefore you need more of them. The bed at least was comfortable and the rooms were cleaned quickly so the cleaning staff deserves credit for that. The area is safe, but beware when walking from Frankfurt main train station. The NFT bar drinks are good, but what a joke the velvet rope is when there's barely any guest upstairs but you still have to look desirable. Luckily, hotel guests can bypass the "rope". If you do stay here, go to the Palmgarten for a lovely day out.
