Very big clean rooms. We were a family of four and still had lots of room. Pool area is clean and well maintained. Staff were kind and helpful. Perfect location for a safari
We stayed for two nights and booked the half pension. The breakfast and dinner buffet offered some nice options. The charge for water was quite expensive. The rooms are clean but have gotten a bit old. The AC works but is very noisy (to sleep with) and not really adjustable. The staff is incredibly nice and very helpful. They charge 3% extra to pay by card, for no reason?!?!
1. Do not go for full board in this place. Go for half board or bed & Breakfast. If they offer lunch at their restaurant called, Dambulu Kitchen on the way, just turn it down. Because if no food available at that restaurant, you will get a raw deal. For us the same thing happened and they made a devil's chicken devill full of bones which are hardly edible. 2. Avoid so called "Tree Houses", because they have bad smell coming from toilet pits. I asked for air freshener but it was ignored by the front office. So I have to use air freshener from my car because the smell is unbearable. 3. Dining hall is very hot because one of the AC's not working and hope that the owner will fix the issue. PLUS POINTS 1. Food at the dinner and breakfast buffets are good. 2. Tree house rooms are excellent except the bad smell. 3. All amenities are available including a mini fridge. 4. Minor staff is very friendly
