Niche Water Tower Apartments

The apartment is very nice and clean . My 2 sons loved the space. Lots of shops close to hand. If you like to watch the sun go down, this is your place. Sitting on the balcony weather permitting, you have a fabulous view of the sun going down. 5 star property 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The flat, while cozy, had some issues. The bedroom and bathroom were colder and had condensation issues. The toilet had a broken flusher, reported but not fixed. The kitchen lights under the cupboard were faulty. The oven was hard to use due to a broken knob, and it lacked clear labels for the electrical hobs. The maintenance person said he would report the issues, however we heard nothing more. Additionally, the nearby pub was noisy on a Thursday night, with loud music until 12:30 am. We also observed a small group of seemingly intoxicated homeless individuals near the flat, which raised safety concerns for our daughter walking to town alone. On a positive note, there's a large Sainsbury's store nearby, and the flat is just a minute's walk from the town centre.

We were quite disappointed with our stay in the house called “woodpecker”. While the property is advertised newish build, the condition and amenities did not meet expectations. • The shower was dirty, and the other shower there was no shower head on the top part so it just poured out, which was unacceptable. • The shower temperature control is extremely sensitive — it’s either scalding hot or freezing cold, making it frustrating to use. The shower door also leaks due to a faulty seal. • Despite the listing stating black-out blinds, the ones in the room were white and did nothing to block light — quite the opposite, in fact. • The kitchen lacked basic essentials like a tea towel and oven glove, and the utensils were so used and blunt it’s like it was a university accommodation. • We were told oil was provided as part of the house, but none was there. • The TV had no working channels. • Only around 7 of the 40 ish listing photos actually reflect the property we stayed in, it also showed a picture of the hot tub, which one we complained was taking out. • Building noise in the area is loud and starts early. While this is mentioned in the listing, it’s more disruptive than we expected. • Next door decided to park their cars on our driveway through the stay. • The standard of cleaning absolutely lacks, the basics are done, but the 1 month deep clean as such is non existent. The positive point was the house is only accessed through a gated secure entrance. Now having read all the reviews on this property, you can see this is an ongoing thing that they are chosen not to deal with. Overall, for a newly built property, the attention to detail and upkeep left a lot to be desired. We expected a much higher standard and would not stay again.
