Nik King Rooms

I made a reservation but they said they did not have available room. So my money and time wasted. I never had such a horrible experience before. Don’t come here

It's not a hotel, it's dirty rooms. If you've booked this apartment, know that you've already been scammed. The rooms are dirty and haven't been renovated in about ten years, the walls are covered in sweat. Old furniture, sagging mattresses that were clearly found in a landfill. Bathroom has broken taps and shower, broken mirror. The bidet is poorly attached and does not work. The boiler in the bathroom hums all night trying unsuccessfully to heat the water. The air conditioning does not work. We asked for a replacement room and we were replaced! But what was our surprise, the second room had the same situation. All the good reviews that are on Booking are nothing more than fake. The thing is that this scammer immediately after check-out shows guests as unoccupied, which brings him a double benefit: he avoids taxes and there is no opportunity to leave an honest review on Booking.

We got robbed in Nik rooms. We stayed in Nik rooms for 6 nights. Before the last night of our stay, we discovered that an envelope with quite a sensitive amount of money for studies in university was stolen from our room. The envelope had never left the room since our arrival, was hidden in our personal belongings. We did not have any guests during our stay, always locked the room when we were out and took the key with us. The second key was with the host, who shared it with the cleaner. In accordance with the host, the cleaner is always the same and no one else except them two do not have access to the key. The host seemed to be surprised when we revealed the robbery to him, helped us to call the police (even it took quite some time to convince him to do so) and to talk with them upon their arrival (translate into Italian). We filed an application with the police (Carabinieri), they talked to the host, cleaner and management. Since the robbery could not be done from the outside and the spare key was available only to two persons, unfortunately there are not many options left. We appreciate the readiness of the hotel management to help and cooperate, but unfortunately it does not help to return the stolen money. The money that was stolen from the hotel where the proper safety of the personal belongings is not provided. The fact that the money was stolen from a hidden place indicates that the thief was digging though personal stuff and clothing (he could not know there was something to steal). With this review we would like to draw the attention of all the potential guest to the safety issues in the hotel. Please consider the risks before booking.
