Nikko Style Nagoya

The room was spacious, clean and lovely. I was surprised with the face masks and other skincare products provided. The staff were friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the welcome drinks at the restaurant on ground floor. Highly recommended!

I spent 5 nights in April in this hotel, totally recommend it. The room is clean and spacious enough. Security is ensured, lift required key card to operate. The staff are very helpful and friendly, I can see they are well trained and experienced to tell what you need at the moment. While I only managed to book at their official site late, hence I don’t have any breakfast plan included, they are ready for walk in residents as well. If you want to explore more local choices of breakfast, the location is very convenient. A walk to Nagoya station is about 10 mins, which is easy given the good weather in spring, though may be a bit harsh in hot summer days.

Location is a bit far from shopping areas and the Nagoya JR station. We chose this hotel for the spacious rooms though, so we didn’t mind that. The lobby’s design is quite chic and the staff are friendly. There’s a tiny gym with a few facilities. One thing is that the cleaning service could be better. When we entered our room, we noticed that there were some invisible sticky stains on the wooden wall, a sticker of shirt label stuck on the cupboard and the carpet was really dusty (see photo). Overall it was a decent experience. However, we anticipate higher cleaning standards.
