A beautiful 5-star hotel in the old downtown of Ningbo. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The service is excellent and attentive. Communication in English is absolutely trouble-free. There is a generous breakfast buffet with Chinese and international dishes. The location is good, with several restaurants nearby. While the hotel shows signs of age in some areas, everything is very clean. Overall, it offers good value for money and is definitely recommended.
This is a wonderful hotel. The staff is friendly and inviting. The room was spacious with good amenities. The breakfast buffet is something like you would find in Las Vegas with ample selection. It is in walking distance to some 5 star dining and top tier shopping.
Am frequent traveler and titanic member of Marriott. Unfortunately am extremely disappointed with this hotel titled as “Marriott hotel” level. The entire hotel and rooms are musty and elderly smell, the WiFi connection page is not consistent page as other Marriot hotels, we had two rooms checking in, we both were not informed the WiFi password until we phoned front desk. Hotel room and service quality just like local 3 stars hotel. Am wondering why it’s ranked as “Marriott” ? Dont even mention about the VIP lounge, no soft drinks offered at 9:30pm. Only tea and coffee. Would never stay in this hotel again.
