Nirvana Retreat

This place has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The views are stunning from your room or the lawn. This small compact 9room hotel has been designed with utmost care keeping in mind the finest requirements of their guests. The pleasant behaviour of the staff adds to your experience. Except for a bar, it has everything a traveller may require. The food is like homemade food. The chef Pravin took special care to deliver what we wanted. The manager Subham has silently taken care of all our needs. The entire housekeeping and restaurant staff has been very cooperative. They never say no. Very positive attitude. This is a gold standard for any hotel. This is certainly the best place to be if you are visiting Kurseong.

Nirvana Retreat is an excellent resort amidst lush green nature in Kurseong. The resort is located little above from the Kurseong Railway Station. The resort is located at a very quiet and peaceful place where you can enjoy every bit of your stay. From the resort itself, we walked through the woods to see the park at Dow Hill. That was an amazing experience. The historic Chimney Heritage Park, a must see place in Kurseong, is only 3.4 KM from the resort. Netaji Museum and Centre for studies in Himalayan Languages Society and Culture is around 8.5 KM from the resort. This Museum is basically in the house where Netaji Subhash Chndra Bose stayed for some time. The resort is very clean and well maintained. We stayed in a family room, called Kalchi, during March 2023. The room was large enough to accomodate all of us and with all sorts of amenities. Each and every stuff there was very polite and helpful. The food was delicious and quantity wise was very good. There were lots of options. Even the complementary breakfast that we had was having so much of options. We stayed there for 4 days and it was such a pleasant stay in this hill town.
