We had a lovely stay! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to help us with our luggage, ride arrangements, food deliveries, etc. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of food options, and afternoon tea was available every day with snacks and refreshments. A free laundry service was also provided. The rooms are beautiful, offering a traditional Beijing HuTong experience with modernized decor. This hotel is also located steps away from a vibrant shopping centre, offering great opportunities to shop for snacks and souvenirs! We would absolutely stay here again

Loved our stay and would stay again. Highlights: Warm and welcoming staff, varied hot breakfast and afternoon tea, gorgeous views on the communal terrace, super convenient location right in the middle of Nanluoguxiang. Spacious rooms and soft, comfortable beds in the large family room where we stayed. Lots of complimentary snacks and soft drinks in the room too. Also lots of sunlight (and a skylight) plus a private terrace. Minor cons: The spiral staircase in our duplex was somewhat steep, there was only one bathroom in the room and it was on the second floor, and the bathroom had a thick curtain instead of a door. The hotel’s facilities in general seemed a little old. But none of these really hindered our experience.

We loved this place and will be back. It’s located exactly where you would want to be, right by the Nanluoguxiang Market and very walkable to Shichihai, Drum and Bell tower, and a wide array of hutongs. Nanluogoxiang station is a few minutes walk to the south also, with two useful metro lines running through it. The staff were delightful and helped wherever they could, and the service included daily breakfast, afternoon tea, and even free laundry service. While the rooms are quite small, they make up for it in character. You’re in the middle of the hutongs after all, and they’ve really captured the atmosphere!
