No 18 Hotel

Situated near the bus station and fort metro , the hotel has spacious clean rooms. The beds were comfortable and the room had all amenities.. it The staff was friendly specially the young slim lady at the reception of whom i forgot to ask the name . Overall the experience was very pleasant! Will certainly come back and stay.

I am not a first-time visitor to this hotel. I visited a few years ago, and at that time, the hotel and bar were excellent. First of all, regarding the location, it's worth ₹3500 for three people including breakfast, given that it is in the heart of Fort Cochin. The check-in process was smooth, but while they advertise parking on OTA platforms, it’s actually roadside parking with no proper dedicated parking for the hotel. The WiFi is a disaster. When it comes to the rooms, cleanliness and maintenance are pathetic. The washrooms appear unclean. The bar is very expensive, and the food is not particularly tasty. The swimming pool is poorly maintained and dirty. They don’t even provide cashews or nuts with beer that costs ₹350. Breakfast, however, was fine. I called the reception at 7 a.m. for a water bottle multiple times, yet nobody answered the calls. The room's fan speed is poor, and the air conditioning is an absolute disaster. I kindly request better cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel. On the positive side, the location is excellent, and all the staff are very polite.

Stayed 1 night on April 17 – Room 219 Very disappointing experience. 1. There were no available plug points—the only two in the room were already occupied by the lights. 2. The room had poor lighting, making it uncomfortable. 3. There was no water in the bathroom in the morning, which was extremely inconvenient. 4. No dustbin was provided in the room. 5. No room service—not even for a simple coffee. Overall, this is a poorly maintained, low-quality hotel. I will not be revisiting, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place.
