My recent stay at Nobu Hotel Miami was, without a doubt, the best experience I’ve had thus far! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Sheldon and the front desk team, whose hospitality set the tone for the entire visit. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made check-in seamless and inviting. One of the unexpected highlights of my stay was the barre session with Jenny. Her energy, expertise, and encouragement made the class both empowering and enjoyable. It was such a rejuvenating experience and a perfect addition to the wellness offerings at Nobu. The entire team went above and beyond, making every moment feel special. I genuinely cannot wait to return soon. Overall an unforgettable birthday memory!!
Mixed Experience at Nobu Miami – Not Quite the 5-Star Stay Promised Nobu Miami had its highlights, but overall, the experience fell short of expectations—especially given the premium price tag and 5-star branding. The first impression was underwhelming. The facade and entry foyer felt dated and didn’t match the sleek, modern aesthetic typically associated with a luxury hotel. That said, the staff at reception were friendly and welcoming, which helped set a positive tone at check-in. The location is a bit removed from the heart of South Beach, which was actually a plus—it was quieter and more relaxed, ideal for those looking to avoid the crowds and noise. One disappointment was the pricing. Just before we arrived, the rates dropped noticeably, and my email inquiry about adjusting our rate was ignored. Given that I had already paid a higher amount, this left a sour note that could have been easily avoided with better communication. The pool area was a definite highlight—spacious and well-maintained, and we had a great time lounging there. The rooms were comfortable and generously sized, but the decor and facilities felt outdated. Peeling wallpaper in the bathroom and a lack of ventilation gave the impression that the rooms are overdue for a renovation. While not terrible, they didn’t live up to the luxury image portrayed in the hotel’s photos. Overall, Nobu Miami isn't a bad hotel—but it doesn't quite live up to the premium 5-star reputation or price. It feels more like a 4-star resort in need of a refresh. Had the cost been more in line with the actual experience, I might have been more forgiving.
This is a 2-star hotel at best. The pool was green and filled with clumps of hair and used band-aids—completely unsanitary. The hotel itself is old and poorly maintained. Housekeeping never came to clean the room during my stay. I ended up leaving early and dealt with Roberto at the front desk. He and his staff were unaccommodating and rude. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.
