Nonnalena Boutique Hotel

Location centre of the old town, 2 minutes from the harbour was great. Room with mini fridge and some small amenities, well maintained and definitely fits the ‘boutique’ description. Love the naked beam ceilings! They were kind enough to let us check in late, room key was left with the late night coffee bar next door. Very easy and hassle free. Small disclaimer - if you’re not used to city life, the bars down stairs close late and can be heard! We slept fine though being from a city center.

Superb room in the best old town location. Very clean, super comfy bed, had a coffee machine and good quality toiletries. The minimalist and chic aesthetic of the room we stayed in was a nice surprise given the building is traditional. Website photos don’t do the hotel much justice. Room overlooked the port too. The hosts were lovely, we will definitely come back.

No check-in instructions were sent to us before our arrival, even though I sent an email to the hotel one day earlier asking for it. We arrived at the hotel and the door was locked with no one at the reception. We had to call the emergency number on the door to get in at 3 am! Later I found another room’s key inside my suitcase after the housekeeping cleaned the room. The next day when we were about to checkout, we realized an envelope with cash inside was missing. Sent an email to the hotel about it, but got no response.
