Awesome view. Very well mannered staff. Food no doubt was amazing. Ming Dynasty view is simply "wow" with beautiful sunset. Clean pool along with fresh towels and seating area available. Chocolates were yum and the breakfast was "variety of happiness" as described by my daughter.

We had a buffet dinner at the marble arch. The food was absolutely tasty and made with care. The staff are very courteous and attentive. Dinesh ji and Ashok ji took real good care of us in terms of bringing everything as per our requirement. The ambience is really superb and one does feel like a royal eating a luxurious dinner. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience!!

The hotel, located pretty much in the heart of the city is a fairly good hotel. The property per se is excellent. It's a well maintained heritage property, with excellent lawns (the best in Bhopal), a swimming pool and 3 restaurants, out of which I used the Marble Arch and Ming Dynasty (the Chinese restaurant.) Both have a good ambience. The Ming Dynasty is well decorated with an excellent ambience. The property belonged to a royal family. Their jeep, palanquin and other knick knacks are on display at the hotel. The view from the hotel is excellent. Possibly the best in Bhopal. You can witness some really superb sunsets from the hotel, with the Bhopal Lake forming part of the sunset backdrop. Food in both the restaurants was good but spicy and heavy for the gravy items. The items are expensive and that is one thing patrons need to be aware of. The staff is very well behaved and polite. Concerns:-1) The hotel has absolutely useless WiFi. Do not depend on it if you have official work to do. You will need to use your phone data. 2) There is no lift or escalator. Those who are senior or have mobility concerns, do not book here. You need to take multiple flights of stairs to reach the 'standard' rooms which begin with the digit 0. 3) So called 'standard' rooms are situated a level lower than the ground floor. The corridor leading to it is like one leading to dungeons. It should be livened up, otherwise you feel like a tourist at the Cellular Jail at Port Blair 😂 4) There is no shop in the vicinity of the Hotel. So if you need to buy anything, you may have a tough time, especially at odd hours. 5) Electric irons are not easily available at the hotel. They don't have one in each room. You can get one, but often times after waiting for the same for long. Then some staff member will come and want it back. On the whole, the ambience of the place and the lovely sunsets will bring me again to this hotel.
