Stayed at ‘Nordic palace and Spa’ for a couple of times and I must say that the place is decent and worth the price you pay. I recommend you add breakfast to your stay, as it’s additional price. To avail a discounted price, pay while booking your room. Sometimes the pricing is lower than booking.com. So don’t forget to check with the hotel directly before you book it online. The property has a good pool. Though the property seems to be old, the ambience is very welcoming and attractive. Parking is a big disappointment. If you have a big vehicle, don’t park it in their building. Instead park in the empty ground beside the hotel. They stay was peaceful either way no disturbance at all. If you require munchies or groceries, foodworld is just a minute away. I recommend this place if you are on a budget.
We had a generally pleasant stay. The hotel was clean, the service was good, and most things met our expectations. However, the air conditioning in our original room wasn’t working properly, which made the stay uncomfortable at first. Thankfully, the staff were helpful and moved us to another room, but it would’ve been better if the issue didn’t happen in the first place. Overall, a decent experience but AC maintenance needs improvement.
My Experience at Nordic Hotel The first thing I did not like was the check-in time, which was at 3:00 PM. We were a group of four people. One of our rooms was ready, while the other was still being cleaned. Despite this, we were given the key to the room. At around 1:00 AM, we were shocked when someone attempted to enter our room using an active keycard that matched our room number. Upon investigation, we discovered that the staff member who checked us in had failed to register the room in the system. As a result, the room was still marked as vacant and was given to another guest. Our reservation included one twin room and one king room. We had paid a higher rate for the twin room, yet we were not compensated for the price difference when we were given two king rooms instead—something we specifically did not want. Another inconvenience occurred when we left the room in the morning and returned later to find that our keycard no longer worked. We had to go down to the reception, where the staff handled the situation with little concern or appreciation for the inconvenience caused. Eventually, the card was reactivated, and we were able to return to our room. During breakfast, we were surprised to find out that the package only covered breakfast for one person per room. This is highly unreasonable, considering the booking was for multiple guests. On top of that, the breakfast quality was very poor—both in terms of variety and taste. Honestly, it was not worth including breakfast with the stay
