Nostalgia Boutique Hotel

The hotel is located quite close to the beach and a handful of restaurants. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were tidy and clean, including the bathroom, but are in need of some TLC. If you don't mind the traffic noises during the day, it is significantly quieter after 10pm, and you want to be within easy walking distance from the beach, this is the place for you.

Staff friendly, hotel design in the lobby is good. Bathroom was clean and well equipped. But I didn’t like so much the bed, it didn’t feel so clean to me, and there was a strange smell.

My room was spacious and had a nice view, but the rooms either need some repairs or have had some bad repairs done, for example, multi-coloured and old caulk throughout the bathroom, a big broken tile in the shower which was repaired with black caulk, mould stains in the main bedroom area under a table, a leak under the window sill in the bedroom, there was a hole in the ceiling where a light fitting had been. I killed about five small cockroaches in two weeks. One day the cold water in the bathroom didn't work at all. The fridge doesn't make anything cold. The hotel attracts a lot of noisy Vietnamese travelers who kept me up on multiple nights with loud music or loud tvs, and they often kept their doors open and spoke really loudly or yelled and their kids ran up and down the corridors, it felt like being at a family camp a lot of the time rather than a hotel. The staff are friendly. The location is good because it's away from the main touristic part if that's what you want, but still close to things, and is close to a good part of the beach which has cleaner water and is also less busy.
