We had a most wonderful time staying at this traditional lodge for two nights. While neither of us speak Japanese (we were only staying in Japan for a total of 5 nights on a stopover from Europe before returning to our home country), we were helped to enjoy our stay and our time in Wajima. The staff were all incredibly lovely and made us feel most welcome, including helping us learn about traditional Japanese customs (and hopefully not make too many mistakes!). We loved the food and the hot baths. We would recommend this hotel to any travellers wanting to experience warm hospitality and a beautiful part of wonderful Japan.

This is a high-class inn, and the hot springs are melting hot springs with a pH of 10.1. The melting hot springs are nice. Even if you take it half-baked and half-baked, the level of satisfaction is on a whole other level. The melting effect was mild, but I could feel it. It's a day trip hot spring, so you can use the elaborate and beautiful one on the first floor, so I'd like to come even if you don't stay overnight, but when we were there, the indoor bath on the second floor for guests only was melting. This depends on the time of day, so I can't say for sure. On Gojinjo Daiko Day, a bus leaves from the hotel. It feels a little old and the environment has not been properly maintained, but the waitress was also very diligent and pleasant. An traditional Japanese ryokan with melting therumae (onsen). Onsen with melting effect is rare even in Japan.
