Novotel Annemasse Centre Porte de Genève

Overall my experience at the hotel was very good. I was met with professional service and accommodations throughout my stay. The room was spacious and clean as well as pleasing in decor. I appreciated having a small refrigerator and service for tea or other hot beverages. The lounge and dining areas were very pleasing and accommodating with a full bar. The top of the roof experience was another additional treat for those interested in partaking. The hotel is centrally located with many shops and restaurants to choose from. Having the train station literally across the street from the hotel was an added bonus. The staff was genuinely cordial and helpful. Overall 5 stars for this magnificent hotel!!!

I had a short stay in Novotel Annemasse town 'cause a transit to Switzerland. Good hotel, as usual like the brand all over the world. Hotel is in a good location, face of the train station. Personnel very kind and always available for help. Good room, quiet and clean. Small problem found: in my room hair dryer broken and does not work. Good and confortable bed, so good sleep quality meet.

This hotel is quite decent and functional, offering clean and well-maintained rooms at a reasonable price. I stayed there with my school, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient, making our arrival hassle-free. However, during our stay, two other school groups were also accommodated, which made the elevators extremely busy at all times. This became quite frustrating, as getting from the upper floors to the ground level was a challenge. On multiple occasions, the elevator would stop at the first floor, then unexpectedly go back up instead of continuing down, which turned into a bit of a nightmare. Despite this, I had a particularly positive experience with the hotel staff when I encountered an unfortunate mishap. My AirPods accidentally fell through the small gap between the elevator and the floor from the seventh floor. When I reported the issue to the reception, the staff was exceptionally helpful, offering me different solutions. They informed me that I could either wait for their next scheduled maintenance service or arrange for a technician at my own expense. This incident happened just as I was checking out, but the staff handled it with great professionalism. After providing my contact details, I was pleasantly surprised to receive my AirPods in the mail three weeks later. Throughout the process, we communicated via email, and even when I mistakenly overlooked their final message containing the payment link for the shipping costs, they went ahead and sent the package anyway. Only then did I realize my oversight and promptly completed the payment. Overall, despite the elevator inconvenience even if it was not their fault, I was very pleased with my stay. The hotel staff demonstrated excellent customer service, going above and beyond to resolve my issue. Their responsiveness and willingness to assist left a lasting positive impression, and for that reason, I would consider staying here again.
