Novotel Antibes Sophia Antipolis

It was a very nice location, the room are very clean and the receptionist was very nice to me ☺️

Clean hotel. Great location for Mouratoglou Tennis Academy. Breakfast average but sufficient choice. Staff seemed friendly. Plenty of parking. Did not use any amenities eg pool or gym.

My room had a terrible smell (like rotten cheese). When I told the receptionist I got a massive spray bottle, so I guess it was a common problem. Had to leave windows open all day while I was out for work, to manage it a bit. The bedsheets had rips and small holes. There was a whole in the ceiling and also on the bathroom door. The hallway to access my room smell like mould, felt damp. Made me sneeze every time. Cushions and umbrellas outside were covered in mold, nothing like the photos on the website. Quality of the food at the restaurant was ok, but hours of operation were not clear. There was not a phone in the room. Room service had to be ordered at the restaurant and then you had to carry tour tray. There was a good bar and good breakfast. Wifi was also good. There were really good toiletries in the bathroom. Service desk staff were all very kind and trying to do their best but the hotel needs some serious maintenance. The room I got didn’t match much of the photos on the hotel website that are probably 10 years old (checking other reviews) of what I booked (like missing a sofa). The reception area was newish, well maintained. Location was great (as it was a short walk to the conference) but very badly served by transport. Nice walk through the forrest nearby.
